HOW TO USE THE SEANET ELECTRONIC TUNER

Connect the output cord of your instrument to the INPUT JACK of the tuner. If you wish to monitor the sound of the instrument, connect the OUTPUT JACK of the tuner to your amplifier. (Acoustic instruments can be tuned via the MIC INPUT on the front of the tuner but it must be in a fairly quiet area.)

Play the string you wish to tune first and the tuner will automatically choose the correct note. Adjust the pitch until the needle of the LCD METER stops in the center at “0”. (The GREEN LED in the middle lights up and b and # INDICATORS will be on simultaneously.) You are now in tune!

WHAT THE BUTTONS DO

POWER BUTTON: This simply turns the tuner on and off. (Tuner will turn off automatically after 20 minutes of non use to preserve the battery.)

MODE BUTTON: This button chooses between Guitar Automatic Mode, Guitar Manual Mode, Bass Automatic Mode and Bass Manual Mode. (Automatic modes are easiest to use but if you want to zero in on a pitch you can use one of the manual modes and select specific notes.)

NOTE BUTTON: When in manual mode, this button scrolls through the specific notes.

PITCH BUTTON: Press this button to choose other than standard A440Hz pitch. A435Hz to A445Hz are available.

A FEW TIPS

  • Do not operate your tuner near amps, sound equipment, radios or TV’s.

  • Adjust the volume control of electric stringed instruments to a middle level before tuning.

  • Do not pluck loudly or heavily.

  • Make sure that only one string is struck at a time.

  • Start with the lower pitched notes.

  • After tuning each string, go back and double check each string. (Tuning lower/larger strings can pull the others slightly out of tune.)
