Here's a list of the controls and their related function:


FRONT
Control Function
Input Plug your instrument in here using a standard ¼" instrument cable.
Gain This adjusts the degree of distortion. Cleaner sound is achieved at a lower gain setting. Higher gain settings will produce more distortion and sustain.
Volume Adjusts the overall level or volume of the amplifier.
Treble Controls the boost and cut of the upper frequencies. The Treble Control will make the sound brighter.
Middle Controls the boost and cut of the mid-range fequencies.
Bass Controls the boost and cut of the low frequency range. Clockwise adds lows frequencies, counterclockwise reduces low frequencies.
Power
Indicator
Illuminates when the amplifier is on.
Standby Toggle this switch when turning the amp on. Wait 30 seconds, before switching out of standby mode to promote longer tube life.
Power Toggle this switch to turn on the amplifier.

BACK
Control Function
External Speaker Out Using a standard ¼" speaker cable, you may connect another speaker here. The speaker (or speakers) should be rated at 4 ohms. Speakers with less or more ohms will result in reduced performance. When the external speaker out is used, the internal speaker is automatically disconnected and OFF.

Power Supply Power is supplied by a detachable power cord with an external fuse compartment.
