FRONT
Control Function
Hi Input Plug your instrument in here using a standard ¼" instrument cable.
Low Input This input can be used as a secondary input for an additional instrument or for instruments with higher output levels such as keyboards, drum machines, etc.
Volume 1 This adjusts the volume of the "Clean" channel only.
Bright Switch This adds sparkle to the Mid to High frequency range and makes the sound "brighter" or "crisper". In is ON and out is OFF.
Channel Select Switch Select between Channel 1(Clean) and Channel 2 (Drive). The corresponding LED will light when Channel 2 if ON.
Boost Switch When the button is ON (in), there is a "boost" or increase in gain making the sound more powerful. This works only with the "Drive" Channel 2. When on, the corresponding LED will light.
Gain This adjusts the degree of distortion for the lead sound. Cleaner sound is achieved at a lower gain setting. Higher gain settings will produce more distortion and sustain. This control works in conjunction with the Volume 2 control to set the overall volume of the "Drive" channel.
Volume 2 This adjusts the volume of the Drive Channel 2.
Treble Decreases or increases Treble frequency response in both channels. (-8.5dB/+5dB @10kHz)
Mid Decreases or increases Middle frequency response in both channels. (+/-3.5dB @440Hz)
Bass Decreases or increases Bass frequency response in both channels. (-7dB/+2dB @100Hz)
Reverb Adjusts the amount of reverb signal mixed with the original "dry" signal for both the Clean and Drive channels.
Master Volume This adjusts the overall volume of either the "Clean" or "Drive" channels.

WARNING: It is a good idea to turn this knob to zero before unplugging and plugging in your instrument to avoid "popping" and possible damage to you speaker or ears. Headphone Used to connect headphones using a standard ¼" phone plug. Since headphones are typically stereo, we have made this output so that the signal is always mono and equally distributed between left and right. When used, the internal speaker is automatically turned OFF.

WARNING: Be SURE to turn your Master Volume to ZERO before plugging in headphones. This will avoid possible damage to your headphones and more importantly, your ears!! Also, prolonged listening at high levels may be hazardous to your hearing!! On/Off switch Turns amplifier on & off. When on, the switch will illuminate.

Basic Use:
Turn the Master Volume control to zero and turn the On/Off switch to on. Using a standard ¼" instrument cable, plug your instrument into the Hi Input jack of the amplifier. Slowly turn the Master Volume control up while playing until you are at your preferred volume level.

When the Channel Select Switch is OUT and the corresponding LED is OFF, you are using Channel 1 or the "Clean" channel. In this mode, only Volume 1 and the Master Volume effect the sound. Conversely, when the Channel Select Switch is IN and the corresponding LED is ON, you are using Channel 2 or the "Drive" channel. In this mode, Volume 2 adjusts the amount of distortion and Post Volume adjusts the amount of channel volume. The Master Volume adjusts the overall volume. You should use Channel 1 when you want a "clean" sound (ie: Pop, Country, etc.) and Channel 2 when you want a "Drive" or distortion sound (ie: Rock, Metal, etc.). You can operate the Channel Select Switch remotely using a "latched" type footswitch such as the Electar model FS-1L. This will allow you to change between channels while you are playing with your foot. You can also remotely control the Reverb and Boost controls using the same type footswitch. By having 3 footswitches, you may control all three functions remotely.
